CBAM supplier data request template

A data request letter and form for collecting embedded emissions information from overseas producers.

Importers of certain carbon-intensive goods into the UK and the EU are expected to report the emissions embedded in those goods under carbon border adjustment mechanisms. That information has to come from the overseas producer, so a clear, consistent request makes it far easier to obtain.

This template includes a covering letter explaining why you need the data and a form asking for installation details, production routes, quantities and embedded emissions. Check the current official guidance for which goods and data fields apply to you.

Free to download. Available as Excel and Word.
